Swivel Chair – To Swivel or Not to Swivel
In the past, swivel chairs were drab and more like dated recliners from the 70’s TV shows.
In 2024, the swivel chair is making a huge comeback, and it could be in part to our living in multipurpose rooms where we all want to be a part of the action. In our modern home decor, rooms are more extensive and include multiple utilities, combining the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The swivel chair allows 360 views and the ability to access conversation within this larger living arena.
Over the past few years at Harrington Galleries, our swivel chairs have been very popular as a valuable design tool and a playful accent piece. Sometimes, our clients purchase as a single but most often as a double and, occasionally, a group of four as a conversation room surrounded by a round ottoman or coffee table.

It has been ordered for a therapy office several times as its wider dimensions lend to longer seating durations. This chair is a statement piece; usually, only one is needed as it is deep and demands attention.
Appointments and Interior Design Consultation
We now operate with clients by appointment and follow up with custom visits. On the initial pass, we will forward our online fabric library to begin eliminating the fabric selection process. We will come to you! It is great to see the fabric on site and confirm it is the correct choice. Also, we want to ensure all custom pieces fit into your space for delivery as all custom items are final sale.
